gushing over picture files with @mikalamelissa4 like a couple of crusty museum curators. (at Hennepin County Library - Minneapolis Central)
People of Loring Park. #putabirdonit (she really did have a bird on her head)
This is Diane, I met her walking back from mass this morning on the east side of the park..We were talking near the pond where a few geese and sparrows were hovering, when after about 20 minutes of chatting we were completely surrounded by what seemed to be all of the wildlife nested in Loring Park. A bird literally flew up onto her head and perched there for about 5 minutes as she talked.. She didn’t even flinch but kept talking about her past life as a teacher..haha..sweet lady..simple words of wisdom too. I love talking to old people. They’ve been through it all and seen it all, loved and lost, traveled the places..bought the things..seems like in the end we all just want peace of mind and good conversation.
Isn’t it kind of crazy how the blood, sweat and tears of composing and producing music is somehow secretly contained within these thinly ridged circles? The beauty of the acoustics, harmonies, and killer beats magically resound and posess potential to touch hearts and minds with the simple drop of a needle on plastic. Forever geekin’ out over these things.
brought out the ol’ #Canson sketch pad today, new illustrations for an old project.. #shouldbedoingtaxes #OOPS
Went bouldering with a friend the other day, (Midwest Mountaineering guys, it’s free!) Couldn’t help myself, I had to make something out of the few crappy phone pics I got..hahaha. Feels good to get away from the screen..good stress reliever too.
