Belated! progress from a few recent screen prints soon to be finished.. The first is a Neutral Milk Hotel poster project I’m working on.. Painted the back orange color with a sponge brush, and will distort the edges later with a damp cloth…4 pulls total, 5 colors, and 13 hours in the studio. Edition of 20. wHOO!
The second is a poster for AIGA and Pepper’s fundraiser coming up! A print depicting the range of tools an artist uses everyday. I’ll be posting the finals sooooon :)

process shots from a recent print project! this baby took 6 different layers to get the gradient effect…which wasn’t even a gradient at all. More like several rough pulls of a monochromatic color palette..HA. For being a newb in the scrint print room I’m super stoked that it doesn’t look like a muddy mess! If I find the time it will get one more bright magenta layer to pop the text.. #project2 #somuchjava
